To God
Dear Lord,
Every single evening
As I'm lying here in bed,
This tiny little Prayer
Keeps running through my head:
God bless all my family
Wherever they may be,
Keep them warm
and safe from harm
For they're so close to me.
And God, there is one more thing
I wish that you could do;
Hope you
don't
mind me asking,
Please bless my computer too..
Now I know that it's unusual
To Bless a motherboard,
But listen just a second
While I explain it to you, Lord.
You see, that little metal box
Holds more than odds and ends;
Inside
those small compartments
Rest so many of my friends.
I know so much about them
By the kindness that they give,
And this little scrap of metal
Takes me in to where they live.
By faith is how I know them
Much the same as you.
We share in what
life brings
us
And from that our friendships grew.
Please take an extra minute
From your duties up above,
To bless those in my address book
That's filled with so much love.
Wherever else this prayer may reach
To each and every friend,
Bless each e-mail inbox
And each person who hits 'send'..
When you update your Heavenly list
On your own Great CD-ROM,
Bless everyone who says this prayer
Sent up to GOD.com
Amen

Street Performer
We came across this guy yesterday morning, we went to the city to accompany my Son for a Job Interview. Probably the colorful costume caught my attention and he is a bit different from the usual Street Performer who most of the times are just playing Musical Instruments. At first I felt sorry for the Guy coz he needs to stand there the whole day just to perform and earn some money and after that realized that they can make double of what i'm earning and besides even his friend wouldn't recognize him, just so sad to realize that in any part of this world there is crisis.

Way Back Into Love
[Verse 1]
(Drew Barrymore)
I've been living with a shadow overhead,
I've been sleeping with a cloud above my bed,
I've been lonely for so long,
Trapped in the past,
I just can't seem to move on!
(Hugh Grant)
I've been hiding all my hopes and dreams away,
Just in case I ever need them again someday,
I've been setting aside time,
To clear a little space in the corners of my mind!
[Chorus]
(Both)
All I want to do is find a way back into love.
I can't make it through without a way back into love.
Oooooh.
[Verse 2]
(Drew Barrymore)
I've been watching but the stars refuse to shine,
I've been searching but i just don't see the signs,
I know that it's out there,
There's got to be something for my soul somewhere!
(Hugh Grant)
I've been looking for someone to shed some light,
Not somebody just to get me through the night,
I could use some direction,
And I'm open to your suggestions.
[Chorus]
(Both)
All I want to do is find a way back into love.
I can't make it through without a way back into love.
And if I open my heart again,
I guess I'm hoping you'll be there for me in the end!
[Middle-eight]
(Drew Barrymore)
There are moments when I don't know if it's real
Or if anybody feels the way I feel
I need inspiration
Not just another negotiation
[Chorus]
(Both)
All I want to do is find a way back into love,
I can't make it through without a way back into love,
And if I open my heart to you,
I'm hoping you'll show me what to do,
And if you help me to start again,
You know that I'll be there for you in the end!

Does sports or energy drinks good for weight loss?
I was researching about Energy Drinks side effects and i accidentally bumped into this article and found out not only the side effects of Sports and Energy Drinks but Water that is the key to weight loss, keep on reading to find out why....
There is a plethora of drinks on the market seemingly available for any particular focus. With words like isotonic, electrolytic, taurine, aspartame-free and others, it's no surprise that people often make the wrong choice for their chosen exercise. There is no doubt that sports drinks are beneficial to certain people, but be wary as they do contain significant carbohydrates which if not utilised for exercise, will hinder weight loss. There is certainly a place for energy drinks but consumers must be aware of possible side effects that are all too often ignored. Sometimes water is the best answer, so here's why.
Unless you are an athlete, it is unlikely that you will require sports drinks every day. Athletes lose valuable body salts (sodium, potassium, etc.) during heavy, endurance based exercise and sports drinks help to rapidly replenish these salts, reducing recovery time. It is true that using sports drinks after occasional exercise (less than 4 times per week is occasional exercise) will aid recovery time. But if your exercise is for a program helping you lose weight, the sports drink will negate some of the good work you have just done. A typical sports drink might contain just under 200 Calories which is roughly equivalent to an 80kg person running for 15minutes! Check out our diet profile to see how this was calculated. This extra energy is no problem for athletes who are using all of these calories and do not need to lose weight, but if you are trying to drop a few kilos, it is better just to drink water. What little salt you do lose during moderate exercise will be regained at your next meal time.
The new energy drinks out are exceptionally high in sugar (they border on being syrups) and hence contain huge amounts of energy; a problem for weight loss. Nonetheless, it has been shown that the caffeine and taurine in these drinks can help heavy weightlifters with a small energy burst for such things as weightlifting competitions. Because the osmolarity of these drinks is very high (osmolarity means the amount of water a substance absorbs from another), they actually dehydrate you. In addition, the caffeine in these energy drinks is a diuretic (which makes you want to pass urine more frequently), and this can be a dangerous combination for endurance athletes or regular people who do not drink enough water. Even the sugar free energy drinks contain stimuli in them that can adversely affect your nervous system in the short term for sensitive people. So our advice is to use these drinks very sparingly on special occasions!
So is good old water the answer? For most people, yes. And it does not even have to be bottled water either - tap water is fine. Plus, tap water is better for the environment, the fluoride in it promotes healthy teeth, and it's almost free! Nevertheless, try to always carry a bottle of water (that can be refilled) with you throughout the day to ensure that you remain hydrated. Hydration is the key to weight loss as it promotes a more rapid metabolism, which in turn helps you to burn energy more easily.

The Rose
Grabbed from my Email this afternoon and thought the inspirational message from Rose's Story was worth passing on.
Here it goes..
The first day of school our professor introduced himself and challenged us to get to know someone we didn't already know. I stood up to look around when a gentle hand touched my shoulder.
I turned around to find a wrinkled, little old lady beaming up at me with a smile that lit up her entire being.
She said, 'Hi handsome. My name is Rose. I'm eighty-seven years old. Can I give you a hug?'
I laughed and enthusiastically responded, 'Of course you may!' and she gave me a giant squeeze.
'Why are you in college at such a young, innocent age?' I asked.
She jokingly replied, 'I'm here to meet a rich husband, get married, and have a couple of kids...'
'No seriously,' I asked. I was curious what may have motivated her to be taking on this challenge at her age.
'I always
dreamed of having a college education and now I'm getting one!' she told me.
After class we walked to the student union building and shared a chocolate milkshake.
We became instant friends. Every day for the next three months we would leave class together and talk nonstop. I was always mesmerized listening to this 'time machine' as she shared her wisdom and experience with me.
Over the course of the year, Rose became a campus icon and she easily made friends wherever she went. She loved to dress up and she reveled in the attention bestowed upon her from the other students. She was living it up.
At the end of the semester we invited Rose to speak at our football banquet. I'll never forget what she taught us. She was introduced and stepped up to the podium. As she began to deliver her
prepared speech, she dropped her three by five cards on the floor.
Frustrated and a little embarrassed she leaned into the microphone
and simply said, 'I'm sorry I'm so jittery. I gave up beer for Lent and this whiskey is killing me! I'll never get my speech back in order so let me just tell you what I know.'
As we laughed she cleared her throat and began, 'We do not stop playing because we are old; we grow old because we stop playing.
There are only four secrets to staying young, being happy, and achieving success. You have to laugh and find humor every day. You've got to have a dream. When you lose your dreams, you die.
We have so many people walking around who are dead and don't even know it!
There is a huge difference between growing older and growing up.
If you are nineteen years old and lie in bed for one full year and don't do one productive thing, you will turn twenty years old. If I am
eighty-seven years old and stay in bed for a year and never do anything I will turn eighty-eight..
Anybody can grow older. That doesn't take any
talent or ability. The idea is to grow up by always finding opportunity in change. Have no regrets.
The elderly usually don't have regrets for what we did, but rather for things we did not do. The only people who fear death are those with regrets.'
She concluded her speech by courageously singing 'The Rose.'
She challenged each of us to study the lyrics and live them out in our daily lives. At the year' s end Rose finished the college degree she had begun all those years ago.
One week after graduation Rose died peacefully in her sleep.
Over two thousand college students attended her funeral in tribute to the wonderful woman who taught by example that it' s never too late to be all you can possibly be.
When you finish reading this, please send this
peaceful word of advice to your friends and family, they'll really enjoy it!
These words have been passed along in loving memory of ROSE.
REMEMBER, GROWING OLDER IS MANDATORY. GROWING UP IS OPTIONAL. We make a Living by what we get, We make a Life by what we give.
God promises a safe landing, not a calm passage. If God brings you to it, He will bring you through it.
'Good friends are like stars.........You don't always see them, but you know they are always there.'
After reading the Story, I realized to give a go on my original plan which is going back to School this coming Semester. I've decided to do Baking and Pastry, since I and my Husband is already in this Business and doesn't have any background in Baking and Pastry, i think i should give it a go. At first i was undecided to do either Fashion Design, Interior Design, Architecture, Fine Arts and everything in this Field. Yes, i have an Artistic Blood(Wow!). Really that's where my Passion is, but practicality wise it is better to pursue what i've already started so i'll do Baking and Pastry, Period!
Rose's Story was very inspiring especially to us who's in our 30's and thinking of going back to school again. It is never really too late for everything and anything, and i don't want to have regrets for what i didn't do. I still want to continue on Dreaming, To live..

Window to your soul
Your Eyes Are The Window To Your Soul.... Or Your eyes are the mirror to your soul,
Eyes are very important to us, so we have to be careful to look after them. They show us our world and they show others how we are feeling. When we talk to other people, we notice what their eyes are saying as well as what they are saying with their mouths.
Can you think of times when you can tell by someone's eyes whether they are happy smiley face or sad sad face or angry angry face?
Some people look away when they are bored.
Some people do not look at the other person's eyes when they talk, because in some cultures it is thought to be rude. The main job that eyes do for us is to see.
Because eyes are so precious, we need to really take care of them.
Here are Some ways to look after your eyes:
* Turn on lights when it's getting dark (especially if you're reading).
* Wear sunglasses and hats on bright days.
* Keep sunscreen away from your eyes - it really stings if it runs into your eyes.
* Wear glasses if you need them.
* Don't wear other people's glasses.
* Your eyes get sore if you watch a computer or TV screen for too long, so do lots of different things in your spare time (you need exercise, and so do your eyes).
* Looking directly at the sun (or any really bright light, including lightning) can damage your eyes.
* Rubbing your eye if you get something in it can hurt your eye.
* Use the correct drops/medication for your eyes if you need them, and do not use ones that someone else has used.
So guys look after your Eyes! :)

St John's Anglican Cathedral, Parramatta
afternoon. I don't know, I just enjoy looking at Old Churches.
Here's a little research about Anglicanism..
The term Anglican is used to describe a broad array of religious traditions which all trace their roots back to the creation of a distinctive English Church under the leadership of King Henry VIII during hte Protestant Reformation. The word Anglicanus is Latin for "English" and its use first appeared in John Jewel's Apology for the Anglican Church (1562).
Today the "Anglican Communion" is a worldwide fellowship of churches in many different countries which stem from the original Church of England. As a result, the regions where Anglican churches dominate corresponds largely with those regions that Britain has at one time dominated politically. All of these churches, organized and administered on a national level, are formally independent from one another. The Church of Ireland, the Church in Wales, and the Anglican Church in Australia are not in any way ruled by the Church of England. Technically, then, it would be incorrect to speak of "the" Anglican Church; instead, it would be more accurate to speak of "the Anglican Communion," all of the national churches around the world that consider themselves to be "in communion with" the Church of England.
The Archbishop of Canterbury may appear to fill a role similar to that of the pope in Roman Catholicism, but that is not accurate. Whereas Roman Catholic churches are required to follow directives which come from the pope and the Vatican, within the Anglican Communion individual churches follow the same practices based upon consensus. The Archbishop of Canterbury is thus a spiritual leader for Anglicans who must use persuasion to get others to agree, not commands.
Anglican Christianity is in many ways very close to Roman Catholic Christianity, having retained a number of basic medieval practices, an episcopal polity, and various theological beliefs. This is because the split between the English Church and the Roman Catholic Church was due not so much to theological disagreements, as was the case with other Reformation movements in Europe, but rather because of personal and political disagreements between King Henry VIII and Pope Clement VII. Thus, it is not surprising that so much of what characterized Roman Catholicism of the time has survived in Anglicanism today.
On the other hand, it decisively broke from Roman Catholicism in that it placed itself under the direct control of the English monarch rather than the pope. The strong similarities have led to many Anglican priests and bishops converting to Roman Catholicism over the years because they have felt more comfortable with Roman Catholic traditions. There have also been many attempts to increase the number of Catholic customs and practices within Anglicanism - for example the Oxford Movement during the early 19th century.
Anglicanism as we know it today was shaped to a large extent by the efforts of Queen Elizabeth I. She was faced with a difficult situation in that many members of the Anglican Church wanted to return to the fold of Roman Catholicism while others, heavily influenced by Protestant theologians, wanted to "purify" the Anglican Church of all Catholic influences (hence the name Puritans). Elizabeth was not in favor of either, wanting instead to continue supporting a distinctly English Church.
Her choice then was to find a "middle way," via media, that emphasized the use of The Book of Common Prayer as a unifying influence on all Anglican churches. The goal was to structure the Book with a combination of Biblical teachings, religious traditions, and even modern philosophical and religious ideas, in order to produce a relatively flexible theological context that remained true to Christian traditions while also being uniquely English. In effect, the Book was designed to be as vague as possible and include as much as possible in order to please as many people as possible. This, then, was what became known as the Elizabethan Settlement.

Moving
Moving, really hard especially here because we don't have any relatives around to help us unlike in the Philippines. Hard in my case as i didn't hire any Moving Services, the only bulky thing we needed to bring in was the Washing Machine, good thing Pat is there and has a Pick up Truck. Yes thanks to Pat, Shaun and Dwight who voluntarily helped us! Now we need to spend all our savings buying new Furnitures and Appliances, because the one before was semi furnished. My big problem now is my Cable Connection(The Filipino Channel), God i can't live without it! In this new building, we're not allowed to nail or drill anything on the wall(inside and outside). We're not working today so hubbs promise to do his best to fix it(Hope it will, fingers crossed!). I'll keep you all posted, Wish me luck guys! :)

Manage your Shape during Winter
Winter is about to end in a Month time and here comes Spring, but still
Spring here is unpredictable with alternating warm, rain, windy and cold days.
I really hate the weather here in Australia, we enjoy hot weather for only
three short Months. Unlike in the Philippines we enjoy Summer almost the
Whole Year Round! Love Summer! I can't wait until Summer comes(December
till February, 5 more months to go,sigh).
Here are some helpful Tips that i've gathered:
Instead of giving up your exercise regime and healthy eating plan this winter, aim to maintain it during the cooler months — this will make managing your weight a whole lot easier.
Follow this five-step plan
1. Maintain a healthy, balanced diet
Base your daily diet on the five food groups:
- Bread, cereals, rice, pasta, noodles
- Vegetables, legumes and fruit
- Low fat milk, yoghurt and cheese
- Meat, fish poultry, eggs and nuts.
2. Include fibre and protein
Eating a diet high in fibre or protein can help you to feel fuller for longer. Fibre can be found in wholegrains, breads, cereals, nuts, seeds, fruit and vegetables while protein can be found in lean meat, chicken, fish, low-fat dairy products, nuts, seeds and legumes.
3. Look out for comfort eating
Identify if you are enjoying lots of extra treats throughout your day. Are you always snacking on sweet biscuits or cake at morning tea? Or do you sit on the couch at night eating chocolate? Both these eating habits make it harder for you to manage your weight, so limit the frequency and amount of "treat" food you eat.
4. Maintain hydration
Some times we can confuse hunger with thirst and we reach for a sweet treat instead of a glass of water — the afternoon sugar craving is a perfect example. When you feel like snacking on something sugary, have a couple of glasses of water and wait 15 minutes before reaching for the treat. You may not need it after all.
5. Keep moving
Keep up the active lifestyle you had in summer. It is recommended to include at least 30 minutes of exercise on most, preferably all days of the week (this includes winter too). Get a training partner for winter so you can push each other to maintain your health and fitness.

Permanent Residency Approval
Wow! I can't explain how happy i am right now, after reading this letter i felt
like i was shaking, teary eyed, laughing(parang naloloka!). I really can't
explain the Feelings, what i'm sure is i'm very happy.
After the long wait, after all the stress and worries. Finally!
It has been Granted, The First thing that came to my mind was to Thank the
LORD, for He is the reason of every Blessings we're enjoying right now. Call my
Husband came after(he's at work), We've worked together to make this
possible, comfort each other when we're feeling like we wanted to give up
because of the hardships and trials while completing all the Documents.
Not to mention the Financial difficulties we've encountered just to make
this happen. Lastly informed my Nanay, my Tatay,
my Brothers and Sister in law.
Here's how the Letter goes....
31/07/2008
File Number:-----------
Client Id:-----------
Application Number:----------
Mr ----- ----- ------
--- MAJESTIC DRIVE
STANHOPE GARDENS NSW ----
Dear Mr ----- ----- ------
I refer to your application for the 856 Employer Nomination visa sub-class.
I am pleased to advise you that your application has been approved. The
following persons included in your application were granted a permanent
visa on 31 July 2008:
1.----- ----- ------, 11/09/19--
2.----- -------- ------, 27/07/19--
3.------ --- -----, 03/09/1990
The permanent visa that you have been granted includes a return travel
facility which allows you to travel in and out of Australia as a permanent
resident for a period of five years from the date it was granted. As your
passport is not held in this office your visa label has not been issued at
this time. The grant of the visa may be evidenced at any office of
Immigration upon presentation of this letter and your valid passport.
Resident Return Visa (RRV)
Once the initial permission to travel and return to Australia ceases, you
will need to apply for a Resident Return Visa (RRV) if you wish to travel
overseas and return to Australia as a permanent resident. An RRV is the
label that is placed in your passport which identifies you as a permanent
resident at immigration clearance on return to Australia. It is evidence
of your permission to enter Australia after absences overseas and to resume
residence. Eligibility for an RRV is generally based on the amount of time
you have spent in Australia as a permanent resident, although there are
some concessions for people who cannot meet the residential requirements.
If you depart Australia without an RRV, or it expires while you are
overseas and you are not eligible for a further RRV, you will lose your
right to return to Australia as a permanent resident.
Australian Citizenship
The eligibility requirements for Australian Citizenship changed on 1 July
2007. For further information you can read about current eligibility
requirements at:
http://www.citizenship.gov.au/applying/application-process/eligible.htm
Centrelink Payments
As you know, new migrants to Australia must wait two years before they can
receive most social security income support payments. "Income support" is
government welfare assistance that is enough to live on. The payments with
a waiting period include unemployment and sickness benefits, Austudy income
support payments for students and a number of other payments.
Special Benefit is the only form of government welfare assistance which
might be payable to people during the two year waiting period. However,
special benefit is only available to new migrants on a very restricted
basis - that is, if there has been a substantial change in circumstances
beyond the person's control. Inability to find employment or running out
of money are not sufficient reasons to qualify for Special Benefit.
The two year waiting period does not apply to Refugees and Humanitarian
entrants and their immediate family members (partners and dependent
children). Permanent visa holders who are immediate family members
(partners and dependent children) of Australian citizens, or of people who
have been permanent residents for at least two years, are exempt from the
waiting period for some payments.
Information on the waiting period is included in the form 'Settlement
information for migrants to Australia' (form 994I). For further
information you can also telephone Centrelink, the agency that makes social
security payments, on 13 2468 from anywhere in Australia for the cost of a
local call.
You can also call Centrelink's Multilingual Telephone Information Service
which can give you information in your own language about social security
payments. This service can be contacted from anywhere in Australia, for
the cost of a local call on 13 1202.
Medicare Health Services
Migrants generally have immediate access to Medicare health services. If
you would like further information on Medicare, including the nearest
centre to register for assistance, you can ring 13 2011 from anywhere in
Australia.
I would like to take this opportunity to wish you well for your future in
Australia.
Yours sincerely
TERRY STACEY

Birthday
We needed to rush here to be able to come on time to pick up our son.
We(my hubbs and I) celebrated my Birthday yesterday just us two.
though my Real Birthday was last Sunday,
we didn't get the chance to celebrate coz we both worked,
anyways we always don't get to celebrate our Birthdays on the day itself
unless it falls on our day off, unfortunately my Son
worked yesterday(that's why he's so jealous hehe!poor him!).
We ate out of course Yum Cha na naman coz it's hubbs favorite,
We needed to check out some new Furnitures we might need before moving
into a New House. Went for some Grocery Shopping as well, it was a Great Day
though it was just like our usual weekly date. The day was great because
after picking him up from work we continued on strolling around(super gala!).
Not only yesterday, everyday is Great and everyday is my Birthday, having
both of them around is Great enough and Blessing enough that i couldn't ask
for more. Thanks to all my relatives and friends who never fail to remember
my Birthday, thanks to my sweet sis Ner for
remembering my birthday really appreciate you sis!
I thank GOD for the endless joy he's giving me and my Family!
